The 1001Now Cesano freestanding bathtub was specifically chosen not only for its features but also its unique, pleasing, and functional design. Most of our offerings are acrylic, freestanding bathtubs with flat bottoms. Also, when it comes to the clawfoot design, the Cesano gives people a high-quality alternative to the more expensive copper or iron models.

Alternatively, our other consideration was the 69 inch, Ancho acrylic slipper clawfoot tub. Right off the bat, we knew this was not the tub for us, as it did not have an overflow, which the Cesano did. Also, the Cesano is listed as having adjustable clawfoot legs, which the Ancho does not. Our other consideration was the heavy-duty, CoreAcryl slipper acrylic tub from Hotel Collection. While this is a fabulous tub, it’s a bit pricey for most homeowners, but it’s placed here because it is a good product which some may find a good deal.

The Woodbridge acrylic freestanding tub, BTA 1514-B, was our next choice. We liked the fact that it was not only of good quality but affordable for most homeowners. As far as build goes, it’s made with durable Lucite acrylic and reinforced with Ashland resin and fiberglass, which really impressed us as a Lucite and Ashland combo is generally more expensive. So it was a win-win to offer our clientele.

The other consideration was the 59 inch model by MAYKKE Dewey. At first, our testers were excited about this acrylic freestanding tub. But upon closer inspection, we were left wanting due to the seemingly light build. Indeed, some found it rather thin and flimsy for the price. Others have stated that it has leaked on them.

The 1001Now Bolsena is a fabulous offering. Its elegant contour and backrest give you a relaxed, ergonomic, and comfortable soak. This double slipper tub is noted for its easy install. It’s lightweight, easy to more and so far, offers no real issue in build or installation.

The 60 inches Ove Decors acrylic freestanding tub gave our Bolsena a run for its money upon first glance. Our testers found that the Ove compared favorably with the Bolsena until they took a closer look it was found that customers had issues with installation, with weak drain parts. Not only that, several users had to call in plumbers to rectify installation issues. It is beautiful? Yes, but upon closer examination, definitely the second place to the Bolsena.

The Woodbridge model, BTA 1512/B0003 is a fantastic tub. In fact, you’ll notice that on the whole, the Woodbridge brand is seen as an exceptional manufacturer for acrylic, freestanding bathtubs. This model has a weight-bearing capacity of up to 1000 pounds, and an anti-odor and anti-leak drainage design. Not only that, but your purchase also includes a faucet.

What were the Woodbridge main competitions? Again, it was Ove Decors. Our testers found that what attracted them to the tub, was that it’s overall 70-inch design was far less severe than the Woodbridge, and that was the concern. Its size and design combined to make the tub a little difficult for some to exit from. It is a nice, good-quality bathtub, but maybe too light for some.

The ANZZI Jarvis Whirlpool Air Jetted Acrylic freestanding bathtub is a great choice. It’s affordable, has a high-quality build complete with over 200 aero therapeutic bubble jets, and easy to use control pad. The ARIEL Platinum, in general, is a good tub. However, customers seemed to have no idea that you wouldn’t be able to turn the jets on unless the water is above the highest jet. This is an inconvenience for some as this is a large tub, with a 72-gallon fill capacity, which takes on average, up to 12 minutes to fill. Take a look at it, it’s a good tub, and as for fill time, it’s a small consideration.

The Vanity Art 70 inch freestanding acrylic tub comes with a pleasing double slipper design, overflow, and pop-up drain. The Vanity Art is comfortable, affordable, and offers a luxurious soak. The surface is resistant to both scratches and stains, and very easy to clean. However, we were considering another brand for this spot: The Bedford.

It was between this and the 67 inch Bedford acrylic tub. The main reason for this attraction to the Bedford was the design, which can only be described as a “squared-off” double slipper design. As all of our double slipper designs were organic in nature, it was considered that this would be an alternate design offering. However, it definitely fell short when it came to the features and build of the Vanity Art model. Still, for what it is, it appears to be a good quality product, so if the design does appeal to you, it can’t hurt to look into it further.

Finally, we come up with our last offering, the Kingston Brass Aqua Eden freestanding pedestal bathtub. This is a beautiful tub with edges so organic, thick, and full. Plus the overall design of this 69-inch beauty is topped off with a classic pedestal. As it has a pedestal, it makes placing it in a quite simple manner, in any area of the room.

The Vanity Art 59 inch pedestal tub was also in the running, but we decided to go with our choice, and here’s why. It was found that some consumers did not like the fact that if you tried to stretch out in the tub, your posterior rubbed against the drain. There also seems to be no installation instructions given, so you’ve no choice but to have it professionally installed, which isn’t good news for those good with their hands, as it ups the overall cost of the tub.
