Cookie Policy
This page explains which cookies and other trackers are used on resisories.com, why, and how you can accept them, refuse them or withdraw your consent at any time. It applies article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the guidelines of the French data protection authority (CNIL).
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit a website. It lets the site recognize your browser for a limited time. The word “tracker” also covers similar technologies (pixels, identifiers, local storage).
2. Trackers that do not need your consent
Some trackers are exempt from consent:
- Necessary trackers for the site to work, for its security and to remember your cookie choices.
- Audience measurement: we measure how the site is used (pages viewed, where visits come from, reading time and depth, clicks on links, device type) to improve our guides. In line with the CNIL’s conditions, this measurement is strictly limited to producing statistics for our own use: the data is not combined with other processing, not shared with third parties for their own purposes and does not track you on other websites. Trackers last 13 months at most and the data is kept 25 months at most.
Tool used: the publisher’s own measurement tool, hosted on its own servers. Cookies set: resi_vid (visitor identifier, 13 months, never extended) and resi_sid (current visit, 30 minutes).
You can object to this measurement at any time: opt out of audience measurement. Your choice is kept for 13 months in a cookie (resi_t3_optout) and only applies to this browser.
3. Trackers that need your consent
The following trackers are only set after you agree, through our consent management platform (Clickio):
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: detailed audience statistics provided by Google.
- Advertising: measuring the performance of advertising campaigns, possibly showing ads adapted to your interests.
- Embedded videos: YouTube videos are loaded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); YouTube may still set trackers when you play a video.
The detailed list of partners and their trackers is available at any time in the consent management platform.
Links to Amazon and other merchants are ordinary links: no merchant tracker is loaded on our pages. When you click one, you arrive on the merchant’s site, which applies its own cookie policy.
4. Your choices
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject all or choose purpose by purpose. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and rejecting does not prevent you from using the site.
- Your choice is kept for 6 months, after which you are asked again.
- Trackers that need consent last 13 months at most.
5. Withdraw or change your consent
You can change your mind at any time:
- with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page, which reopens the consent management platform;
- by setting your browser to block or delete cookies (usually in the “Privacy” section of its settings). Blocking all cookies may prevent the site from remembering your choices.
Withdrawing your consent does not affect processing carried out before.
